LNRP is a partnership of nearly 20 organizations that seek to protect our environment, preserve the land and water and promote tourism in northeast and north central Wisconsin - in particular along the Niagara Escarpment.
Veterans for Peace Chapter 114 (Sheboygan) was instrumental in getting Friends of Peace Park started and is helping with caring for the park and fund raising. They are also involved in other peaceful causes.
Larry was a founding member of Veterans for Peace Chapter 114. He was the driving force that led to the planting of the Peace Pole at the corner of North 3rd Street and Michigan Avenue and in having our small bit of greenspace designated as a Peace Park.
This site was created by one of Friends of Peace Park Sheboygan's charter member, Darryl Gumm. It is currently being maintained by Darryl and his son so be sure to check it frequently for new content.
